Though the Cardinals allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent, the team ended up bringing linebacker Marcus Bernard back in the end. The team's official website reports Bernard has been re-signed on a one-year deal, the financial terms of which are not yet known.
Bernard finished the 2013 season with 17 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 12 games.
