Patriots defensive tackle Dominique Easley (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.
His ability to practice on a limited basis Friday provided a glimmer of hope Easley would be able to suit up in Week 2, but the Patriots will err on the side of caution and hold him out. Easley suffered a hip pointer during the team's Week 1 win over Pittsburgh.
