Peyton Manning might not be the most valuable quarterback on the field this season, but he's definitely the most valuable quarterback off it.

According to Forbes.com, Manning is pulling in more off-field money than any other player in the NFL this year. Thanks to deals with companies like DirecTV, Gatorade, Nationwide and Papa John's, the Broncos quarterback is pulling in $12 million in off-field income.

Off-field income includes money earned through endorsements, appearances, memorabilia, book royalties and licensing.

Manning's take is $1 million more than second-place Drew Brees, who's pulling in about $11 million this year, thanks to deals with companies like Pepsi, Verizon and Wrangler.

Surprisingly, the third highest-paid player off the field isn't Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, it's actually Peyton's brother, Eli Manning.

The Giants quarterback is expected to rake in $8 million in off-field income.

Forbes' list of highest-paid players off the field only included those who are making at least $5 million in off-field money. The only two non-quarterbacks to make the list this year were J.J. Watt and Marshawn Lynch.

You can see the complete list of all nine players who are raking in at least $5 million off the field below. Besides endorsements, off-field income also includes "appearances, memorabilia, book royalties and licensing income."
