Nate Burleson might not be as fast as a cheetah, but that doesn't mean he can't wear cheetah-theme cleats on his feet.

The Browns wide receiver showed up at practice on Monday with cleats that he apparently bought on a recent jungle safari. On a scale of one to ugly, they're about a six. But if you stare at them for awhile, they kind of grow on you.

Cheetah cleats make sense though because cheetahs can run over 60 mph. On a somewhat related note, a cheetah would likely beat Burleson in a 40-yard race unless Burleson cheated or unless the cheetah got sidetracked by an antelope. Cheetahs love antelopes.

Anyway, Burleson isn't the only player who likes to wear weird cleats. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton regularly does it. Newton wore Batman cleats back in December, then followed that up a few weeks later with some Superman cleats
