Raiders starting wide receiver Denarius Moore (hamstring) was listed as limited again Friday in his second practice since Aug. 4, but he increased his workload and ran some deep routes.

“He looked better today,” Raiders coach Dennis Allen said.

On Thursday, Moore eased back into practice and limited himself to short and intermediate routes. This time, he took part in all aspects of practice, but just didn’t take as many reps as he normally would.

“It’s going day-by-day still," he said. "It’s still a game-time decision.

“I’m giving it all I’ve got right now, really gaining confidence in myself, seeing what I’m able to do, if I’m able to pick it up or not, and just letting it go from there.”

Moore said he is “able to make all the cuts” on his routes, but that he still needs to prove he can do that “over and over consistently,” especially when his hamstring gets fatigued.

Center of attention: Center Alex Parsons continued to take the initial reps with the first team, ahead of Stefen Wisniewski, but the Raiders have still not named a starting center for Monday night’s game against San Diego.

Wisniewski is listed first on the depth chart, but he missed the final three preseason games with a calf injury and didn’t return to practice until this week.

“Actually it’s been a good week with Wisniewski,” Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp said. “He came back and practiced full-term this week, so that’s good for us. He’ll definitely be in the mix.

"Him and Alex are competing for the starting spot right now, but they will both be up for the game to help us inside. We’re going to evaluate them during the week to decide who’s the starting center, per se, and the other one will be the backup guard/center rotation guy.”

Knapp said Parsons and Wisniewski are both taking snaps at center and guard. Wisniewski started at left guard last year as a rookie. Parsons had experience at guard in college at USC and on the Raiders’ practice squad the past two seasons.

Injury report: WR Jacoby Ford (foot) missed practice again. WR Juron Criner (ankle), DT Richard Seymour (knee), G Cooper Carlisle (back) and Moore were limited. K Sebastian Janikowski (groin), TE David Ausberry (shoulder), TE Brandon Myers (shoulder) and Wisniewski (calf) practiced full.

Allen said he expects Criner to be “ready to go Monday night,” and he has yet to rule Ford out, even though he hasn’t practiced or played since being hurt on Aug. 17 at Arizona.

“We’re going to hold out and wait until we get closer to game time to go ahead and make that decision. He’s continued to get better,” Allen said.

Extra points: The Raiders didn’t have a single blackout last season, and they’re off to a good start this season. Monday night’s game against San Diego will be televised live in the Bay Area, the team announced.
