The Redskins are expected to pick up Ryan Kerrigan's fifth-year option, according to sources. Kerrigan has played on more than 98 percent of the team's snaps since becoming the 16th overall pick of the draft in 2011.

The 49ers decision on Aldon Smith, given his extensive off field issues, will be watched closely, with several league sources anticipating ultimate San Francisco will exercise that option for 2015.

The Giants already exercised their option on cornerback Prince Amukamara and the Cowboys have, as expected, locked up Tyron Smith

Teams have until Saturday at 4 p.m. ET to pick up the options on those 2011 draft picks eligible for the options, and more of the teams intending to do so have already filed their paperwork.
