The Chiefs are having a big year, but Dwayne Bowe is not.

Dwayne Bowe made a pretty dumb mistake this past weekend, getting pulled for speeding while in possession of marijuana. The result was a highly-publicized arrest in the week leading up to the Chiefs showdown with the Broncos.

Good news for Chiefs fans: Bowe will reportedly play.

Ed Werder of ESPN reported on Wednesday morning that Bowe is all-systems go despite the recent arrest.

"He's playing," a source told Werder.

Based on the current setup of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the process for Bowe is to have the courts handle his case before he's disciplined by the league (or the Chiefs).

In other words, the Chiefs can't do anything other than play Bowe. Andy Reid is scheduled to speak on early Wednesday afternoon. It's possible he'll reveal more information relating to Bowe's situation, but the more likely scenario involves him simply saying they'll let the process play out.

This is the biggest game of the Chiefs season -- by far -- to date. It's not surprising that Bowe will ultimately end up playing.
