With Cowboys owner Jerry Jones criticizing the Giants because he believed they were faking injuries in Week 1 and with Jim Harbaugh’s spat with Clay Matthews (“Come with some knuckles”), the league reportedly has had enough.

That’s why the NFL sent out a league-wide memo telling teams not to talk about opposing teams in that way, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.

Otherwise, Glazer said, the team could get a “conduct detrimental to the league” penalty from the league. And the penalties probably wouldn’t be pretty.
