Six weeks since the Pittsburgh Steelers started training camp and four days before the start of the regular season, Ben Roethlisberger isn't playing favorites.

Who, exactly, is the Steelers quarterback's go-to receiver? Antonio Brown -- he of the new six-year contract signed the first week of camp? Or the other Pro Bowler on the roster, Mike Wallace, who has had one of the most productive first three seasons in NFL history for his position?

Just like he does so often when opposing defensive linemen are coming at him, Roethlisberger deftly dodged a question asking who his No. 1 receiver is.

"I think we have 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d and then put Heath at 1e," Roethlisberger said, making sure to include WRs Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery and TE Heath Miller on his list of No. 1's.

'Ain't no question': Coach Mike Tomlin brushed off any thought that NT Casey Hampton will not play Sunday during his press conference Tuesday. A day later, Hampton was equally optimistic. "I'm going (to play)," Hampton said. "Ain't no question about that." Hampton, who turned 35 Monday, said he expects the rotation along the defensive line to remain largely the same it was last season. DEs Brett Keisel and Ziggy Hood join Hampton as starters, but the Steelers liberally substitute NT Steve McLendon and DL Cameron Heyward along with NT Alameda Ta'amu and DE Al Woods, particularly in the thin mile-high air.

The Wait of the Worilds on his wrist: LB Jason Worilds spent most of last season in pain from what was ultimately diagnosed as torn ligaments in his left wrist. The ailment kept him out of OTAs and minicamp and virtually all of training camp until finally being taken off the PUP list last week. Worilds went through his second practice Wednesday and is expected to be available for Sunday's game in Denver. "I'm definitely relieved, absolutely relieved," Worilds said. "It's been a long journey but just to get back on the field, go out there and practice and be with my teammates again. I'm excited."

Movie time: In preparation for the Broncos Sunday, the Steelers' defense watched game film of the two most recent times they played the Colts. Steelers DE Brett Keisel said the team watched film of a 2008 home regular-season loss to Manning and the Colts as well as Pittsburgh's thrilling playoff win in Indianapolis from January of 2006.

FS Ryan Clark said it made more sense to study the old Colts than watch tape on the Tim Tebow-led Broncos that knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs last season.

"When you get Peyton Manning, you get a package," Clark said of the Broncos. "You don't get a quarterback. Peyton Manning's not a cookie-cutter quarterback where you say, 'This is what I run, this is what I coach, you come here and do what I tell you to do.' When you get Peyton Manning, you get the whole thing."

Foote not on practice field: Veteran LB Larry Foote did not practice Wednesday. The team listed him officially as having an ankle injury; Foote told reporters from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Tribnue-Review that he just was given a day off. Coach Mike Tomlin often has excused tenured veterans from Wednesday practices.
