Doing his best Bill Gramatica impression, Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch tore his ACL in Week 3 while celebrating a sack.

In case you didn't see it ...

But if you thought Tulloch would express some regret that he short-circuited his season because he was too ambitious with a sack dance, you'd be incorrect. Because he says he's totally fine with the result.

Hell, no," Tulloch told the Detroit Free Press when he was asked if he had any regrets. "I'd do it again, brother. You do it every time. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Just a matter of time."

Well, that's certainly an interesting take from Tulloch, who had been the NFL's active leader for consecutive starts made by a linebacker. And kind of refreshing quite honestly.

"I've played a long time in this league and I understand you're susceptible to this kind of injury when you go out there and play," Tulloch said. "Nine years without missing a game is kind of crazy, but like I said I'm positive because I believe in my hard work, I believe in my training and what I do in the off-season and how I approach things, so I know I'll be back even better than before."

But the Lions probably aren't quite as pleased with the result. In his place, the team will have to start Tahir Whitehead at middle linebacker.

Not surprisingly, though, Tulloch has an upbeat attitude.

"Don't feel sorry for me," Tulloch said. "I feel good. It's just unfortunate the injury is what it is and like I said I'm upbeat and positive about it and I'll be back better than before."
