“I feel like I’m playing within the rules for the most part, without a doubt," Suh said, according to Dearborn Press & Guide. "I think every defensive player, the game is so fast, so quick you can’t be 100 percent right on one assignment and that’s what you have the athletic ability to make up for those things.”
That's a fair point. The game does move fast, and the area defensive players are allowed to target is not only moving but forever shrinking. Still, Suh outpaces everybody when it comes to getting fined so it's hard to take him seriously.
It explains why the league has invited Suh down to headquarters even if the defensive tackle isn't sure he'll go.
“I’ve had brief discussions with my agent and GM, I’m really just focusing on Dallas, been really concerning myself with that until the bye week comes,’’ Suh said, adding: “It’s good to have dialogue and understand where they’re coming from and go from there."
Suh's last visit with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell came in 2011.
