If you live in Pittsburgh and didn't see Troy Polamalu around town this week, that's because he was somewhere else: Polamalu was on Sesame Street. The Steelers safety made the trip to Sesame Street to teach Elmo about fragrances.

"Hi, I'm Troy and we're here to tell you all about the word fragrance," Polamau said.

Polamalu then goes to great lengths to teach everyone on Sesame Street about the word fragrance: He smelled a skunk, an onion and a dirty sock and explained that none of those things offer an aroma that would qualify as a fragrance.

The onion was especially sensitive about being told it didn't smell good, "Boy, Polamalu, you really get under my skin," the onion said.

In the end, we find out that Polamalu uses a strawberry fragrance on his hair and everyone on Sesame Street is happy because they found a fragrance!

Polamalu won't have his hair for much longer though. The 32-year-old safety announced on Thursday that he'll be cutting off in November to support Veterans of Foreign Wars.
