DE Jared Allen, who has been suffering from back spasms, joined WR Percy Harvin in not participating at practice Wednesday. Vikings coach Leslie Frazier initially announced at his press conference that he thought Allen might be limited, but he appeared on the injury report as not having participated and was not seen during the portion of practice open to the media.

The good news about Allen is that an MRI of his back taken Monday showed no structural damage, and Frazier said that he will be able to play Sunday.

“His injury is not to the extent that it would keep him out of the ball game,” Frazier said. “We just have to be smart utilize him in practice this week, but he should fine on Sunday.”

Other players on the injury report include TE Kyle Rudolph (shoulder), LB Jasper Brinkley (shoulder), RT Phil Loadholt (knee), C John Sullivan (ribs/knee) and CB Antoine Winfield (knee) -- all with limited participation. P Chris Kluwe (left knee) participated fully.
