There isn't much Bill Belichick isn't good at. Football tops the list, of course, and within that, his game-planning, in-game adjustments and clock management are often mentioned as light years ahead of everyone else. But the Patriots coach also has a sharp sense of humor, though it's rarely seen because he's usually busy stonewalling the media with blank stares and one-word answers.

But we all got a glimpse of Funny Bill on Wednesday when he was asked about the report that the Patriots were meeting with veteran running back Steven Jackson. Belichick eschewed the customary obfuscation and instead channeled George Constanza, choosing to end the press conference on a high note before walking out.

Translation: "Why don't we smooth the head down to nothing, stick a pumpkin under its arm and change the nameplate to Ichabod Crane?"
