After sitting behind Robert Griffin III early in his career, Kirk Cousins is the Redskins' unquestioned starter at quarterback. That was the case last season, when he was under center for all 16 games, and that remains true now that he's playing on one-year, $19.95 million franchise tag.

And how the 2016 season unfolds for Cousins will go a long way in determining if the Redskins sign him to a long-term deal, or he ends up following RG3 out the door. After sitting during last week's preseason game against the Jets, Cousins was back on the field on Friday night against the Bills, and his first series didn't quite go as expected. On his third pass attempt, Cousins was intercepted on a nifty play by Bills defensive back Corey White:

You can't blame Cousins for a great grab -- and a good bit of luck -- by White, but the Bills were able to convert the turnover into three points.
