HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) Cameron Delaney nailed 5 of 6 from long distance for 19 points as Sam Houston State dominated the second half to roll over NAIA LSU-Shreveport 91-59 on Saturday night.

Dakarai Henderson added 12 points as 12 Bearkats put points on the board. John Dewey III had eight points with four steals and five assists.

Sam Houston State (5-3), which has won four of its last six games, led by just one at the break, 34-33. The Bearkats started the second half on an 11-1 run and led 52-40 midway through the second half. A Delaney trey with 8:39 left started a 14-1 run and Sam Houston State coasted to the win.

The Bearkats shot 51.6 percent (33-64) from the floor while limiting LSU Shreveport to 21-of-59 shooting. Sam Houston also won the rebound battle 49-29.

Rashard Owens led the Pilots with 13 points and Benjamin Batts added 10.
