Angels' Yunel Escobar: Has setback on rehab assignment

Escobar (oblique) felt stiffness in his side after taking a swing in a minor-league rehab game Wednesday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Escobar was scheduled to appear in rehab games Tuesday and Wednesday and then possibly be activated from the disabled list prior to Friday's game against the Rangers. However, that timeline is now in doubt.
