Hanson cleared waivers Tuesday and was outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Hanson did very little of note in his 18 games with the Blue Jays, hitting .163/.229/.163. Now that he's off the 40-man roster, he's one step further from returning to the big leagues.
