Tepera was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.
The Blue Jays recalled third baseman Matt Dominguez from Buffalo in a corresponding move to add depth to the infield while Josh Donaldson remains limited by a thumb injury. Tepera saw light usage with the Blue Jays upon being recalled from the minors last Monday, making just one appearance during his five-game stint with the club.
