Dietrich was released by the Yankees on Saturday.
Dietrich was scratched from Friday's spring lineup against the Orioles, and he'll now be let go by the Yankees ahead of the regular season. Dietrich hit .167 with one home run and four RBI in 11 spring games this year and may have to settle for a minor-league role in 2021.
