Van Slyke left Saturday's game in the third inning with lower-back tightness, David Vassegh of AM 570 in Los Angeles reports.
Although his first and only at-bat ended with him being hit by a pitch, Van Slyke appeared to tweak something on a swing earlier in the count, according to SB Nation's Eric Stephen. With Carl Crawford (back) already on the disabled list, any time Van Slyke has to miss will put the Dodgers in a bind in the outfield. A further update on the severity of Van Slyke's injury figures to be made available later Saturday.
