Astros RF George Springer homers among two hits in Game 1 ALDS win

Astros right fielder George Springer went 2 for 4 with a walk, solo home run and two runs scored during Thursday's Game 1 ALDS win over Kansas City.

Springer's solo shot came in the fifth inning off the Royals' Chris Young and gave the Astros a two-run cushion in the game. Through two playoff appearances in 2015, the 26-year-old outfielder is 3 for 8 with two extra-base hits.
