Astros OF Jake Marisnick: Doubles among two hits during Game 1 ALDS win

With Carlos Gomez out of the starting lineup Thursday due to a lingering back injury, Jake Marisnick drew the start in center field and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the Astros' 5-2 win over Kansas City in Game 1 of the ALDS.

Marisnick also made a fantastic catch in the fourth inning to quiet the crowd at Kauffman Stadium and stem a Royals rally. The 24-year-old, who is quietly considered the best defender among Houston's outfielders, would slide back to the bench if Carlos Gomez is healthy enough to play Friday.
