Miller struck out three in a perfect inning for his 12th hold of the year in Monday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.
Miller is the best non-closer in baseball, and he continued his dominance Monday. He's posting better numbers than closer Cody Allen, but skipper Terry Francona remains content using the overpowering lefty as the eighth-inning setup man. Miller has allowed one run in 26 innings and sports an elite 36:5 K:BB to go with his microscopic 0.35 ERA. Continue to enjoy his excellent numbers.
