Robertson cleared waivers Wednesday and has been outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Robertson was claimed off waivers by the Mariners earlier in the offseason, but was designated for assignment after the club finalized a deal with Hisashi Iwakuma. By virtue of not being claimed off waivers, he'll now head to Triple-A Tacoma, where the veteran outfielder will likely begin the season.
