Orioles' T.J. McFarland: Recalled by Orioles

McFarland was recalled by the Orioles on Wednesday, Rich Dubroff of CSN Mid Atlantic reports.

The Orioles swapped out their left-handed relievers Wednesday by recalling McFarland and optioning Ashur Tolliver down to Triple-A Norfolk. Tolliver was effective in three of his four relief outings during his stint with the Orioles, but McFarland boasts far more major league experience than does Tolliver. McFarland appeared in 30 games last season, notching a 4.73 ERA with 26 strikeouts against 18 walks.
