Refsnyder (hamstring) is batting second and is the Red Sox's designated hitter Friday against the Nationals, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
Refsnyder exited Sunday's game against the Twins with left hamstring soreness and missed the ensuing series against Atlanta. However, Refsnyder now seems to be over the injury and will be back in action for Friday's contest.
