Douglas was waived by the Grizzlies on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.
The Grizzlies brought Douglas aboard in early-December following the announcement that Mike Conley would miss several weeks with a back injury. The veteran has given them decent minutes through six games -- 5.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists per game -- but the two sides will now part ways, freeing up a spot on the roster, which will likely be assumed by one of Memphis' injured players. It's unclear who, exactly, that might be, though Thursday's move could be an indication that Conley is ahead of schedule, or that either Chandler Parsons (knee) or James Ennis (calf) could be nearing a return.
