Hawks' Lamar Patterson: Heads to D-League

Patterson was assigned to the D-League on Saturday, Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Patterson has bounced back and fourth from Austin to Atlanta and that won't likely change as the season continues. However, he's still averaging 14.5 minutes over 16 appearances for the Hawks this season while playing behind Thabo Sefolosha and Kent Bazemore, two players he won't likely be able to overpass for playing time.
