Jazz's Boris Diaw: Will return to bench role Wednesday

Diaw will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Since the injury to Derrick Favors (knee), the Jazz have been moving between a bigger and smaller lineup, with Joe Johnson and Diaw alternating at the power forward position. The Jazz have opted to go with a smaller lineup Wednesday, which sends Diaw back to the bench in favor of Johnson. Diaw's demotion will likely come with a loss in playing time and considering he wasn't posting fantasy numbers even when working with the top unit, he'll likely remain off the fantasy radar in the majority of leagues.
