Rockets' Kyle Wiltjer: Assigned to D-League

Wiltjer was assigned Sunday to the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

Wiltjer has played in just three of the Rockets' first nine games, logging a total of seven minutes of playing time. He'll get some much-needed experience while spending time in the D-League, but he could be recalled in time for Monday's outing with the Sixers. Even when with the big club, Wiltjer is only a deep reserve and not worth a look in fantasy leagues.
