Mike Nugent: Shuffles back to practice squad

Nugent reverted to Arizona's practice squad Monday, per Mason Kern of SI.com.

The veteran kicker was fantastic in relief of Zane Gonzalez (back) in Week 14 against the Giants, going a perfect 4-for-4 on field-goal tries ranging from 30 to 37 yards. There remains the possibility for a performance-based promotion of Nugent in the coming weeks. Gonzalez has been shaky at best in 12 appearances for Arizona this season, converting just 72.7 percent of his 22 attempts.
