Report: Cardinals offering Falcons' Weatherspoon 2-year deal

The Cardinals offered Falcons outside linebacker Sean Weatherspoon a two-year deal worth $3-4 million per season, according to a report from ESPN.com. 

Weatherspoon is expected to hit the market and leave Atlanta. He's reportedly choosing between the Saints and the Cardinals. The Falcons have previously said they wanted to bring Weatherspoon back. 

Weatherspoon suffered an Achilles tear last year and missed the entire 2014 season. When healthy, Weatherspoon was one of the Falcons' best defenders. from 2009-2013, Weathersponed has totaled 290 tackles and eight sacks.
