Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, the Saints' official site reports.
The Saints have spread the wealth in the post-Jimmy Graham landscape, with six players boasting double-digit targets through three games. Cooks leads them all with 23, which he's turned into a team-leading 16 receptions for 190 yards.
Coming off his most-productive contest of the season with Luke McCown under center -- seven catches for 79 yards on eight targets -- Cooks could have typical starter Drew Brees (shoulder) at QB on Sunday versus the Cowboys. No matter if the duo reunites, Cooks is still searching for his first touchdown of the season, but luckily for him, Dallas' defense has surrendered three touchdowns to wide receivers in the past two outings.
