Vikings' Jake Long: Signs with Minnesota

Long has signed a contract with Minnesota, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

With Andre Smith placed on injured reserve with a triceps injury, the Vikings are in need of depth on the offensive line. As a result, they'll take a chance on Long, who hadn't been able to sign with a team after playing just 10 snaps last season after tearing his ACL in both 2013 and 2014.
