Brown was reassigned to AHL Hershey on Saturday.
After clearing waivers, Brown was promptly sent down to the minors. The 24-year old played just one game for the Caps this season, recording a single shot on goal. Barring any future injuries, Brown will likely find himself in Hershey for a while due to Washington's forward depth.
