Flames' Dennis Wideman: Back in action Friday

Wideman will play Friday against the Coyotes.

Wideman's original 20-game suspension was cut in half Friday, making the 32-year-old blueliner eligible to return Friday. The former eighth-round pick's owners will be happy to have him back in their lineups, as he's been pretty productive this season, notching 19 points (two goals, 17 assists) and 75 shots on goal in 48 games. Wideman is expected to skate alongside Jakub Nakladal on the Flames' third pairing in Friday's contest.
