Halischuk was called up from AHL Manitoba on Thursday.
Halischuk was summoned to the parent club in the wake of news that Bryan Little (head) is out for the season. It'll be interesting to see how long the recall lasts for Halischuk, as he's 27 years old and has yet to earn a full-time role with the Jets. At any rate, he's an attractive call-up based on his ability to play on either the left or right wing.
