Lightning's Tanner Richard: Sent to AHL on Friday

Richard was sent down to AHL Syracuse on Friday, Erik Erlendsson of Lightning Insider reports.

After making his NHL debut last Tuesday, Richard played an uneventful three games without a point, averaging 12:42 per game. He's going down with another pair of Lightning youngsters to get some experience while the big club has a five-day break in the action. Expect him to be back up for Wednesday's game against the Canadiens.
