Klein left Monday's game against the Hurricanes with a muscle strain and will not return, Pat Leonard of the NY Daily News reports.

Klein left Monday's game after just 2:22 of ice time. The injuries are starting to pile up for the Rangers, who recently lost starting center Derek Stepan for four-to-six weeks. Klein can be considered day-to-day for now. The 30-year-old veteran's next chance to return to the ice will be on Wednesday when the Rangers play the Islanders.
