Stephen Strasburg's last home start of 2012 didn't last long, as the Nationals right-hander was pulled after three innings after allowing five runs on six hits -- including two home runs.

Strasburg gave up a run in each of his three innings, throwing 67 pitches. He has now thrown 159 1/3 innings going into what the team has said will be his final start, Wednesday at the Mets.

The Nationals rebounded from a 6-2 deficit to tie the game in the eight, but Miami scored three times in the 10th, winning 9-7. Giancarlo Stanton and Greg Dobbs both homered off of Strasburg for the Marlins.

The three-inning outing tied the shortest of the season for Strasburg, who also lasted just three innings on June 3 in a loss to the Braves. It was the second time in three starts Strasburg has been lit up by the Marlins. Miami put up seven runs (five earned) on nine hits in five innings on Aug. 28 at Marlins Park. Strasburg didn't allow a run to the Marlins in his first two outings against Miami this season before being knocked around in his last two.
