The talk around the water cooler Monday morning and on pretty much every sports show -- whether on television, radio or the Internet -- is about the Seahawks' final play call that resulted in Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler picking off quarterback Russell Wilson's pass in the end zone and clinching a 28-24 win in Super Bowl 49 for New England.

It seems the consensus is that Seattle should have leaned on star running back Marshawn Lynch to run the football for the potential go-ahead score. Still, the Seahawks stand by the play call after the loss, with offensive coordinator Darren Bevell adding, “It was a great look, the look we wanted to get."

However, Bevell also seemed to put some of the onus on Ricardo Lockette, who was the intended receiver on the play. Bevell did mention a couple of times after the game that Lockette "could have been stronger through the ball," per 710 ESPN Seattle.

“(Butler) drove hard on the ball,” Bevell said, per the Tacoma News Tribune. “Our guys have to go hard to the ball, too."
