Browns first-round pick Barkevious Mingo has been hospitalized with a bruised lung, coach Rob Chudzinski said after the team's 24-6 Week 2 preseason win over the Lions. Mingo was injured in the first half, although Chudzinski didn't know how the injury happened. The rookie linebacker is expected to spend the night in the hospital.

In other Browns injury news, backup running back Dion Lewis had five carries for 33 yards before leaving the game with a broken leg. The fear is that he could be done for the year.

Lewis was hurt midway through the third quarter after getting sandwiched by two Detroit defenders while trying to haul in a Jason Campbell pass. He stayed on the ground for several minutes before leaving the field on a cart.

Lewis is the latest Browns running back to battle injury. Trent Richardson saw his first preseason action against the Lions after nursing a shin injury. And backup Montario Hardesty was set to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery this week, after dislocating his thumb during Monday's practice.
