If the past two days are any indication, Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams only has two goals for the month of February:

  1. Tweet as often as possible.
  2. Make every Patriots fan hate him.

Williams has been on a Twitter frenzy this week -- sending out roughly 300 tweets -- and it started on Monday when he tweeted out a picture of the pink slip he was given in March 2015 after the Panthers released him, which he uses for motivation.

Apparently, hating on the Patriots also motivates him.

Over the past two days, the Steelers running back hasn't been shy about sharing his feelings toward the Patriots.

For one, he thinks the Patriots are a bunch of 'certified cheaters.'

Secondly, Williams believes that pretty much everyone hates Bill Belichick, except for Tom Brady, of course.

Patriots fans took to Twitter to try and defend Belichick and the rest of the team, but Williams wasn't buying it.

Williams would like Patriots fans to know that the team's titles don't come from talent, they come from good lawyers.

So where does this hatred come from? Apparently, Williams is still slightly bitter that New England passed over him in the 2006 NFL Draft. The Patriots took Laurence Maroney at No. 21 overall, which was six spots ahead of Williams, who went No. 27 to the Panthers.

The good news here is that Williams is singlehandedly creating a rivalry between the Patriots and the Steelers, and the even-better news is that the two teams are set to play each other during the regular season in 2016.
