The Dallas Cowboys finally managed to put together a home win on Sunday night, their first since the opening game of the 2015 season. Just a couple plays into that win, though, it looked like they may have again suffered a major loss.

After a 21-yard run from Ezekiel Elliott opened things up for Dallas, Dak Prescott found Dez Bryant with a short pass to the left side of the field. Bryant broke away from a tackle and fought for some extra yards, then saw his right knee awkwardly bend in the wrong direction as he was tackled just beyond the first down marker.

Dez tried to run off the field to the opposite sideline, but couldn't make it there before it looked like the Cowboys would have to go to the line of scrimmage, so he went down on the field. Trainers came out, walked him off, did some tests, and took him to the locker room. It looked to most like he might be done for the evening, and possibly longer.

But Bryant emerged from the locker room having missed only a few snaps, and played almost the entire rest of the game. He caught only two more passes as Prescott fed Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams for most of the night, but the Cowboys are undoubtedly less concerned about that than they are about having him on the field the rest of the season.

To that end, Bryant will have an MRI of his knee on Monday to make sure nothing slipped by Dallas' doctors on Sunday night. Jerry Jones has already made his diagnosis, though, according to ESPN. "We feel OK," Jones said. "We're going to do some other things, too. But right here, yes. Right now, we're fine. We'll give it another look-see with the MRI."

Jones is not a doctor, so they're going to go ahead and do the MRI.
