There was a CATastrophe at the Superdome on Thursday night.

Sorry, I couldn't resist, I've been waiting my entire life to use that line and now was the time because someone BROUGHT A CAT to the Saints-Falcons game on Thursday.

The Internet loves cats and one fan clearly knows that because during the second quarter of the Saints' 31-21 win, she tweeted out a picture of the cat.

That's the most well-behaved cat I've ever seen, which is saying a lot because I've seen a lot of cats.

I'm not sure if it's legal for a cat to play in the NFL, but there were several fans at the game who thought the cat might be able to help the Saints on the field, especially after the Saints lost left tackle Andrus Peat to an injury.

People also thought the cat might be able to help the Saints after kicker Zach Hocker missed his second field goal of the game.

Someone also though the cat could help the Saints out at wide receiver.

The cat was so popular that a radio guy in New Orleans wanted to interview it, or its owner. One of the two.

For anyone wondering how a cat got in the game, there's your answer: It's a service animal.

Service animal or not, there were plenty of jokes on Thursday because, hey, it's a cat at a football game.

Of course, since the Saints won, people now want the cat to attend every game.

On a somewhat related note, someone needs to tell this girl that she doesn't need to stay at home anymore, SHE CAN BRING HER CAT TO THE GAME.

Anyway, although the mystery of the Saints cat might not ever be solved, we do know two things: The cat's a she and her name is Zooey.

Hopefully Zooey shoots to fame because I'm so over Grumpy cat. By the way, Zooey's definitely famous in New Orleans. After the game last night, #WhoCat was trending in the city.
