The Patriots spent much of the first 40 minutes of Monday night's game dominating the visiting Ravens. In fact, after another stalled Baltimore drive, New England led 23-3, and barring the inexplicable and the unforeseen, there was no way that was changing.
Well, over the next 14 seconds, we got both the inexplicable and the unforeseen. First up: Defensive back Cyrus Jones, forced into punt-return duties because of injuries, somehow thought it was a good idea to do this:

That promptly resulted in a Ravens' touchdown:

Not to be outdone by Jones, Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater takes the ensuing kickoff ... and fumbles it. Another turnover, another touchdown, and just like that the Ravens had cut the lead to 23-17.
That was fast.
