Tom Brady must have shaken all the rust off on the Patriots flight to Cleveland because he looked like he was in midseason form during New England's first offensive drive against the Browns on Sunday.

On his first offensive play since last season, Brady opened things up by completing a 10-yard pass to Julian Edelman.

One play later, Brady found his old friend Rob Gronkowski for a 19-yard gain.

Gronk might've been the most excited player to see Brady back on the field. In the two games he played in without Brady, Gronk only caught a total of one pass for 11 yards. On the first series that Brady returned, Gronk caught two passes for 53 yards, including the 34-yard completion you see below.

The drive ended with a 2-yard touchdown run by LeGarrette Blount that gave New England an early 7-0 lead.

Overall, Brady went 4 of 5 for 65 yards on the Patriots opening drive, which went 80-yards and took 3:13 off the clock.

Brady might have been even better on the Patriots second drive, going 4 of 5 for 64 yards and a touchdown. Yup, that's right, Brady threw his first touchdown pass of the year on a short 7-yard throw to Martellus Bennett.

Oh, and if you think Brady's going to slow down, he's not. The Patriots quarterback also threw a touchdown pass on New England's third drive. On his second TD pass, Brady hit Bennett again, this time with a five-yard pass.

Through three drives, Brady is 13 of 15 for 185 yards and two touchdowns.
