Georgiev will get the starting nod for Saturday's home matchup with Chicago, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.

Georgiev looked sharp Friday, stopping all nine shots he faced after Igor Shesterkin (lower body) was removed from the game. Saturday will be his first start since coughing up four goals on 18 shots and getting pulled against the Sabres on Nov. 21. He's sporting a shaky 3.88 GAA and .867 save percentage through seven games this season but could be in line for more work if Shesterkin misses any time.
