Welcome to an incredible Saturday in college basketball. We’ve got 14 automatic bids getting handed out, leagues big and small. There’s plenty to look forward to. Selection Sunday is less than 48 hours away. Can ya believe it? This is, by far, the best time of the year. The day starts with the America East, and that’s going to have Vermont trying to go perfect in league play against Albany. If UVM wins, it should be a 13 seed. Tip is 11 a.m. in one of the best small-college towns in America, Burlington.

Games will go for more than 13 hours. Duke trying to become the first ACC team ever to win four games in four days, and if that happens, Duke could have a No. 2. seed as its reward.

Hey, how about Iowa State? The Cyclones have been playing as good as almost anyone over over the past two weeks. Steve Prohm winning a league title in his second year would be a good story, but West Virginia has rated as a better team all season.

If Middle Tennessee gets past Marshall in the C-USA title game, the Blue Raiders would deserve an 11 seed. Rhode Island gets Davidson in the A-10 semis, and their case looks fairly good if it can win there.

In the Big East, Villanova probably has the No. 1 overall seed locked up. If Creighton wins, it would be a stunner. The Pac-12 title game is a terrific nightcap, and with UNC losing on Saturday, why not put the champ of that league as the final No. 1 seed? It’s going to be an interesting decision for the committee.

We’ll have you covered all day and all night again. Commentary, videos, GIFs, the latest reports, and Norlander will be on the scene at MSG and Barclays for the Big East and ACC championship games. Settle in, because there’s still plenty to be decided.
